RM 1.71
Well folks, I am sure you have been waiting for the formal announcement. So here it goes...
As long as all goes well without any speed bumps from now until install date. We are looking at [SIZE=5]May 6th, 2011[/SIZE] for the install of T4C v1.71 on RealMUD. I hope you will all join us in seeing this unfold as we also welcome you to come explore things and let us know of anything you may find that is an issue.
Feel free to look around and explore the new look and ask questions. Please do note any issue's or things that need addressing as far as the client and mainstream things go. As far as Server specific content, There will be time to address all those needs ;)
So pls try and maintain that line of thought. Hope to see you all there and hope you enjoy the hard work put into it ;)
There will be a few things for you guys to notice right off the bat and things to look for ;) For starters there is now an extensive help screen imbedded into the game, just hit F1 and after the initial screen you will see a topic listing. Just go thru the pages in order or click on the topif of interest. Press the (I) at the top of the menu to return to the topic's page.
Here is a small list of things for you guys to see.[INDENT]

[*][SIZE=4]New Sounds[/SIZE] - Add your own MP3 playlist to T4C game play as well as added in new T4C music.
[*][SIZE=4]Professions[/SIZE] - Fine tuned system with some basics. More to come as time unfolds.
[*][SIZE=4]New Macro Keys [/SIZE]- Added convenience to see Guild and Profession's pages -- See Config file for details.
[*][SIZE=4]Improved Radar[/SIZE] - N,S,E &W Fixed. Position indicator now included.
[*][SIZE=4]New Powers/Resist Tab [/SIZE]- Located in your character sheet for added convenience.
[*][SIZE=4]New Walls/Floors[/SIZE] - New look on these things.

[/INDENT]I would also like to take this time to note the INT and WIS have swapped locations. Please be sure to note this for when you go to level. There will be [SIZE=4]NO[/SIZE] fixing of points for this mistake.

Trilogy's Human PvP Event Returns!
All human PvP event will start on 16th of April and run through the 7th of May.
The final event part of this will run for 2 hours in a designated area.
How the event is played:
You will make a new character, talk to NPC "Kyron" and she will set your xp to level 100 then teleport you to an island to level up to 100.
You will then return to Kyron and she will set your sanctuary and send you to SH.
You will be responsible for all quests.
CS items have been blocked. You will not be able to do those quests.
At the end of the month all PvP event characters will be deleted.
*This to prevent abuse of the free level 100 character.
All chars must join the Guild "EvT" that will be hosted by one of Jay's chars. If you need help in doing this, please contact Jay.
You will be able to build your character as you like.
You can trade with anyone or purchase anything you wish.
This is an all human PvP event, if you seraph, your character will be deleted immediately.
Everyone is welcome to come check out Trilogy and participate in this event.
As this is a PvP event, you MUST have your PvP on at all times.

***Note*** The killing of players during the month will NOT count towards the final kill numbers for this event. (There will be a prize issued for the most kills before the event)
The final kill numbers will only be counted during the final 2 hours of the event on 18 July in a designated area.
***Note*** If you die, you are NOT eliminated. You will ressurect and go back if you desire!
Prizes are:
Most Kills during arena event:free 1x toon.2 Pieces of any armor,100k gold
Most Kills total:1 piece of any jewelry,one piece of any armor,one uber key,10 rp tokens

T4C Bible HACKING
Hello Folks,
[SIZE=3]MAKE SURE TO CHANGE YOUR T4CBIBLE PASSWORD AND YOUR HOTMAIL/MAIL PASSWORD IF IT IS THE SAME AS T4CBIBLE.[/SIZE]
This is an important message, T4C Bible has been hacked by some Lamer and a "password" recorder was installed to send the passwords to some random pre-hacked websites.
The various places where passwords were send have been informed of the security breach in their websites the lamer used to store the files.
Of course, we will ask Apache logs to know WHICH IPS have asked to consult the so called loveloveX.html files (containing passwords) and this will lead to retaliation.
If you are THAT lamer who used this (to steal t4c accounts or something) feel free to explain yourself if you want to avoid any legal sues.

[RM] 5x and other changes
//A bit of a failed april fool's, but ah well, gotta keep the tradition alive!
It is with a heavy heart that I have agreed to announce this - after long discussions with Onyx, Alastor and Freyia, the decision was made to increase the maximum remort of the Realmud server to 5x, to remove all "VIP" areas, and to make the server 25% backpack drop.
The change will come into effect later today, with extensive quests put in place to regenerate the Realmud role-play scene, and excellent 5x quest that will have you busy for hours, with almost no item hunting required. New staff will be hired that will actually be players that play the game, as well as having certain prerogatives such as clean up and events; they will have virtually no advantages over normal players.
Onyx feels that this is an exciting new era for the server, and has strained to point out that the fifth remort isn't one like all the others - there will be new twists and turns in the T4C tale on Realmud, as well as new mechanics and interesting developments.
Several new classes have been announced, such as the Monk and the Sage. Among the changes are an alternate stat/skill point distribution route per level, new item and spell effects and brand new skins.
Basically, Realmud as you know it will be gone. Welcome to a new age in the trilogy.

It's been a bit more than 1 year now that T4C have a "stalker" acting, and using tricks of social engineering to get access to files or informations.
This stalker uses various "msn" emails where he changes the "display" name to appear to be "like" a contact you know, preferrably someone known like official staff members.
If you're a player :
- You are concerned about your T4C accounts that could get stolen.
If you're working for a server :
- You are concerned about your server files or information being compromized.
You're your a developer or have sources :
- You are concerned about your sources getting leaked.
So please make sure to black list and block following email if you have in your contacts and never dumbly accept invitations from :

(i.e. you wearing a Santa hat with a home-made drachen staff)
